K2 Space provides office fit out for News UK

K2 Space has recently completed the office fit out of News UK’s logistics centre in Hertfordshire.

It is from this base that the company prints The Times, The Sunday Times and The Sun among other titles.

News UK has moved its headquarters from Wapping to The News Building next to the Shard in London Bridge. As part of this it wanted to adopt a similar approach to all its offices, resulting in an upgrade of facilities for approximately 50 staff at the site in Broxbourne near junction 25 of the M25.

“The office layout includes a reception area, a number of informal breakout areas, open plan office space, private offices and meeting rooms. The refurbishment gives the right impression for our colleagues and partners.” said Nicola Dobson, head of logistics development at News UK. “We took the time to consider the interior design elements of the office with wall coverings providing colour and core brand messages.”

Geoff Osman, managing director of K2 Space added: “News UK embraced what a new office design should be about. Paying attention to the finishing touches means they have created a vibrant working environment for their people.”
