K2 Space was approached by ICP, a marketing technology company, to refurbish their outdated London offices located at 180 Great Portland Street. The ICP senior team desired a modern and dynamic workplace that reflected their brand values, and K2 Space worked closely with the client to ensure their vision was realized.

Creating a Dynamic Workplace Layout
K2 Space’s workplace designers began by gathering feedback to define the brief, and then created a series of layouts and design visuals. The focus was on incorporating technology into the office design, creating an environment that allowed staff to work efficiently and productively. The design included a variety of spaces where staff could choose to work, with new furniture installed throughout and dual monitor arms on each desk, making it easy for staff to move from focused work to collaborative work and back again.

The reception area was also completely revamped, with a new desk installed and ICP branding prominent throughout. K2 Space ensured there was no disruption to normal business activity during the refurbishment, with disruptive works scheduled out of normal business hours and/or at weekends. The phased project was completed over 8 weeks.

To further support employee well-being, a new kitchen area was created with comfortable seating and a variety of healthy food and drink options. Overall, the new design of the ICP London office has had a significant impact on staff morale and productivity, with staff reporting increased collaboration, improved well-being, and a greater sense of pride in their workplace. The project was completed on time and on budget, and the client was extremely pleased with the results.
