K2 Space was appointed to deliver a phased office design and build project for the Toyota Financial Services HQ in Epsom. The project involved a full refurbishment of the 20,000 Sq. Ft. space, spread over two floors and home to over 200 staff. One of the key challenges of the project was to ensure that the office remained a functional workspace for the duration of the renovation.
Creating a Vibrant Work Environment
The client’s objective was to create a vibrant and dynamic work environment that promoted a culture of increased collaboration and better reflected the iconic Toyota brand. K2 Space worked closely with the client to design and implement a workspace that met these requirements. The design included a mix of open-plan workstations, meeting rooms, and collaboration areas, all with a focus on creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for staff.
Bold Colours and Unique Features
One of the key design features was the use of bold colors and materials that reflected the Toyota brand. This included the use of Toyota’s signature red color throughout the space, as well as the use of natural materials such as wood and stone. The design also incorporated a range of unique features, such as a “treehouse” meeting room and a “garage” collaboration space.

Despite the challenges of working in a live environment, the project was delivered on time and within budget. The finished space was well-received by both staff and management, and it has since become a vibrant and dynamic workspace that promotes collaboration and reflects the iconic Toyota brand.
