Fit Out Project for Vanda Pharmaceuticals

In 2016, K2 Space completed a fit out project for Vanda Pharmaceuticals, creating a new European headquarters in Tower 42, Central London. The project was a challenging one, as the client had a very clear vision for the design of the space.

Project Overview

The brief for the project was to create a functional and stylish workspace that would accommodate 20 people, as well as meeting rooms, a reception area, and a kitchen. The client wanted the design to be neutral and cool, with high-quality finishes throughout.

A Collaborative Design Process

K2 Space worked closely with the CEO of Vanda Pharmaceuticals to bring their vision to life. The design incorporated a range of high-quality materials, including wood, stone, and glass, to create a sleek and modern look. The colour scheme was primarily neutral, with accents of cool blues and greys to add interest and depth.

The meeting rooms were designed to be flexible, with the ability to adapt to different group sizes and meeting styles. The reception area was welcoming and professional, with comfortable seating and a clean, modern aesthetic. The kitchen was designed with functionality in mind, featuring high-quality appliances and plenty of storage.

Sleek and modern look

One of the challenges of the project was working within the constraints of the building, which was a listed property. K2 Space worked closely with the building management team to ensure that all aspects of the fit out were compliant with the building regulations.
