Our project for Dentsu at The Stamp Office in Edinburgh was a finalist for Project of the Year: Workplace Interiors (Sub 15,000 sq ft) at the Mix Awards North 2026, held at Manchester Central on 2 December. Congratulations to the winners and to everyone shortlisted.
Being shortlisted alongside the best workplace projects in the North is a credit to Dentsu and to everyone at K2 and across our supply chain who worked on the project.
The project
The Stamp Office is a listed Georgian building on Princes Street, which has stood on Edinburgh’s main thoroughfare since 1819. Dentsu wanted one home for a mixed team that kept some of the character of its previous historic building. K2 delivered the design and build and the furniture for the 7,000 sq ft office.
A ways-of-working review found that several Dentsu brands were operating in silos despite sharing a floor. The brief that followed was built around the “One Dentsu” approach, bringing disciplines together while letting each team keep its own identity. Following Dentsu’s ERG guidelines, existing furniture was reused wherever possible, including pieces from other Dentsu UK sites, with 54 desks and 59 chairs repurposed. Modular meeting rooms give good acoustic privacy and can be reconfigured later without demolition, and a lounge and workshop on the mezzanine give clients a place to work with the team.
